DJ and producer David Mayer is the latest contributor for Torture the Artist‘s art:cast series. The Berlin resident has been a constant in the electronic music scene since 2009 when he released the very first of altogether six own releases on Keinemusik.

&ME‘s path has gone up ever since he moved to Berlin back in 2004, which marked the beginning of his musical career in the spotlight of the electronic music. With his very first Keinemusik release, ‘F.I.R.‘, Andre Boadu, how close friends call &ME, set quite high standards for following releases, but disappointed neither his audience nor DJs.

INTERVIEW & TRACK PREMIERE MYNY ‘Define (Dub)’ [SOLIDE]
MYNY, deriving from the word ‘mini’, started his career as a HipHop-DJ and producer in the 90s before turning his back on the genre – at least when it came to DJ’ing and later on to his own productions. Still his musical past has always played a role in his life, as his latest productions come in with a lush baselines, usually a trademark in HipHop music, but MYNY using it to create his own House music sound.

It may have seemed like an impossible feat to create a decent follow-up to Rampa‘s highly acclaimed EP ‘Trust‘, but it seems the Keinemusik co-label-owner has done just that with his recent release ‘The Touch‘.
