ART:CAST #45 by Yør Kultura

Based in Rotterdam Yør Kultura have implemented a trademark sound of their own over the past year by smoothly combining extravagant synth-melodies with stripped down bass lines to form a symbiosis in raw track- and sound structure. With releases on Karakter Records or Multi Culti as well as Laut&Luise the trio’s music has gained recognition and support from Switchdance over to Sascha Funke or Swiss legend Ripperton. Now, after playing two shows at ADE last week, the Rotterdamers deliver the latest art:cast and after ADE soundtrack. The 1h and 12 minute lasting mix depicts Yør Kultura’s versatility as they switch from a dark and raw tone to rhythmically afroesque influenced tracks and over to synth-pad touched tunes. Simply said, Yør Kultura take you all over the place still remaining one vibe, one sound, their music.
