Just in time for ADE Offering Recordings is ready to drop its latest release, Transition (The RMXS) Pt. 1. Berlin based producer David Mayer takes on remix duties to give Boddhi Satva’s track ‘Love Will’ a decent club feeling. While the original track, which was released back in March 2017, highlights Bilal’s smooth voice Mayer’s approach instantly focuses on a percussive influenced bass line that still gives enough room to the vocals from the original. Diverse synth-chords are added in the course of the track that on the one hand flatter Bilal’s voice and on the other hand create a hypnotic impact that pulls one in the maelstrom of the interaction between sound-patterns and vocals. The result is a testemony of contemporary electronic combined with African rooted House music.
Boddhi Satva’s ‘Transition (RMXS Pt. 1) will be out October 6th, 2017 on Offering Recordings and is already supported by Rampa, &ME, Adam Port, Adana Twins and Pablo Fierro. (Holger)
