exclusive | LukasDarian – 7$ Left | Groove To Grave

Some records simply settle into the day. Three years after “Common Speed”, the release that inaugurated Groove To Grave back in 2022 and one year after a contribution to the first Summer Hits compilation co-founder LukasDarian returns to the label with “7$ Left”, a track that feels as effortless as the season it belongs to. Rooted in House while gently brushing against Deep House, Electro and Minimal textures, it unfolds with quiet confidence, never rushing towards a destination. Instead, it lingers in the spaces where summer seems to last a little longer: sun reflecting off the water, warm air drifting through open windows, and those unplanned hours where time slows to the rhythm of the day.

There is an understated beauty to the way “7$ Left” develops. Crisp percussion, buoyant grooves and dreamy melodies weave around one another with remarkable ease, while the vocal snippets melt into the arrangement . They add warmth and familiarity without ever becoming overly sentimental, allowing the track to retain an elegant sense of restraint. It is equally at home soundtracking a beach at golden hour, an afternoon by the pool or a leisurely drive with nowhere particular to be. The atmosphere  simply captures the unmistakable feeling of summer in its most natural form.

As part of Groove To Grave’s “Summer Hits Vol. 2“, an eight-track journey through House, Minimal, Deep House, Acid and Breaks, “7$ Left” quietly becomes one of the compilation’s defining moments. LukasDarian embraces subtlety, crafting a record that lets groove, mood and melody breathe in equal measure. His long-awaited return to the label is a reminder that the most memorable summer records are often the ones that ask for nothing more than a little sunshine and the willingness to slow down.
