EXCLUSIVE Crump ‘Reflections’ [Jam Dem Sounds]

From Bristol to Barcelona Crump not only overcomes geographical borders but also musical ones with the second release on CMYK curated label Jam Dem Sounds. The five tracker, which is called Spottin’, covers various influences and electronic music sub-genres still follow a distinctive and unmistakable sound of the artist. While the A-side of emphasizes Crump’s preference for UKG-sounds, the B-sides explores some deeper House music, makes some Jungle-esque excursions and leads to a downtempo finish. Reflections, the B2 of the EP, is the beforementioned Jungle-esque take, which has a strong UKG-influence as the synth-line picks up that vibe. With its dreamy yet preceding note Reflections motivates one to do what the track title suggests: surrender to the sounds, let your mind ride the bassline and your thoughts reflect in the waves of the synth-line. A wonderfully designed deep track for either one of those clear blue skies-days or a night out.

Crump’s EP Spottin’ will be released on Jam Dem Sounds.
