Berliner ZK Bucket returns to his label Zaun Records with two tracks, namely Stop Counting and Yo Future. After his Lush Attack from winter last year and a remix for northern German label Empore the melodically House wizard delivers two takes that are revealing the artists’ current state of musical being. Yo Future sounds like a beautiful dystopia – a paradox itself – as it comes in raw and crispy, melodically beautiful yet hitting hard on the nostalgia of emotions one is overcome when living on the razor-edge and still covers or subtly emphasizes the distant hope in a chaotic environment. As if art had to be destroyed first to reach integrity and recognotion it deserves, Yo Future gains latter and more with each listen.
