EXCLUSIVE Ghostwhip ’10:56 PM’ [Filament]

Lofi Ghetto House/Tech with a touch of Breaks most likely hits close to what Ghostwhip does within those four studio walls in his Canadian home. As the founder of Posse Up, a label releasing those vibes from real ‘G’s’ with a deeper housey and partly Acid-note, and as a helpful hand at Philthtrax Ghostwhip himself has recently drawn attention to his music with the re-release of his track Je’Taime on the Cruise Control (Tokyo to Toronto)-compilation and a split EP, NAS.RAR, with Cherriep both out on Philthtrax. His latest musical output is on Amsterdam label Filament, which is ready to release the second part of their Fest-series, a various artist EP containing four tracks from the same amount of producers with each tune covering the mood of a different stage of progression of an (Filament) event. Ghosthwhip’s take goes by the name of 10:56 PM and not only namely hits close to that time of the night but also musically. Deep almost housey chords paired with solid piano intermezzos and Drum ‘n’ Bass passages provide Ghostwhip’s work a surprisingly facility and variety spreading those positive vibes throughout the track; throughout the event as they set the basis for a felicitous night.

Fest II will be released on Filament on October 19th, 2020.
