Austrian label Freeride Millenium does not only ready its first ever compilation, namely Freeride Millenium presents Queer Base, but donates all profits from the release to Queer Base. The latter is a newly founded charity project from Vienna, which offers social and legal counseling to LGBTQI + refugees and among others providees help with court cases, finding housing, community events, organising German lessons or HIV/STI testing. For the compilation Freeride Millenium gathered electronic music scene’s mainstays like Massimiliano Pagliara, Benjamin Fröhlich, Soulphiction, Zomies In Miami or Victor Rotciv. The Berlin-based artist, who also runs Mister Mister Records, has been putting out his music on renowned labels such as Live At Robert Johnson or Ostgut Ton’s Untertone, just to name two from the 1996 started list. Victor’s contribution to the Freeride Millenium presents Queeer Base-compilation is the greatly groovey track Durch (Englisch: through) that comes in with intriguing synth-variations and a housey bass line. Both combined result in one, may we say, sexy take that does not allow anything else but moving your body impulsively to it as you have your mind drifting away in the ring of the chords.
Freeride Millenium presents Queer Base will be released on Freeride Millenium on July 30th, 2020.
