EXCLUSIVE RVDS ‘Moon Operator’ [Uncanny Valley]

After the forced pandemic break with most people falling into a valley of sorrows for many reasons, Dresden-based label Uncanny Valley finally returns with the next edition around their 50th release festivities. Simply called Purple and of course coming with a sleeve in the same color, the Florence on the Elbe-boys Albrecht, Conrad, Carl and Philipp invited label affiliates Chino, Johannes Albert, Lake People and RVDS to contribute a track to the EP. The latter is a Hamburg based DJ and producer operating from the infamous Pudel Club in Hanseatic city, where he already celebrated the release of his track Moon Operator with label heads Carl and Philipp before Purple had to be postponed. However, the final release of Moon Operator does not lessen the joy as the track has already been supported by artists such as Oskar Offermann. Moon Operator starts with deep and melo pads before a clap is introduced and accompanied by a backgroundish almost tripple bass beat. In this emotional construct that already soaks the listener deep into its virtue an Acid-line is implemented taking the tune on a whole new level, musically and emotionally, and just as both, the initially introduced pads and the Acid-line harmonize smoothly with each other, RVDS pushes even more forward adding a proper bass line taking you to the moon and back and making one long for those coopting club nights.

Uncanny Valley Purple will be released on May 11th, 2020.
