Prolific artist duo Frankey & Sandrino are regular guests at the Oberbaumbrücke in Berlin, where they hold a residency at one of Berlin’s most famous nightlife institutions, Watergate Club. Now the duo releases their long-awaited and highly anticipated debut on the club’s label, namely their ‘Nova EP’, a four tracker with three originals and a Tiefschwarz remix that is suitable for all the different stages of a flamboyant club night. ‘Black Hole’ seemingly is the take for the last chapter of the night, a dark yet almost calm but rising synth is juxtaposed with an effervescent line and creates those infamous mental moments Frankey & Sandrino always tackle with their productions. The pads support the lead synth by carrying it in an background-ish manner giving it enough space to enfold virtue to leap into the audience’s mind as more and more detailed soundscapes are added here and there to expoit the track’s full (sound) potential.
