Newly founded Swiss label Récits de Mars is ready to launch with the label’s co-founder Several Definitions and his EP ‘Perception/ Respire’. Aside from featuring two original tracks the labels’s first EP is bristled with remixes from Clint Stewart, ENØS and Berlin based DJ, producer and Skatcity label-head Skatman. The latter had a tremendous 2018 establishing his music and the label’s music in the scene and gaining support from various scene heavy-weights like Dixon. Now the Berliner firstly leaves his hailing port in order to contribute a remix to Several Definitions’ label-launching EP. Therefore Aziz, Skatman’s real name, takes on the track ‘Respire’ and adds the trancey, dreamy and hypnotic vibe he’s known for best. Still Skatman manages to not exaggerate or deconstruct the original track’s note but surely reconstructs the original elements and gives them the momentum to unfold a different kind of force on the dance floor.
Several Definitions ‘Perception/ Respire’ will be released January 25th, 2019 on Récits de Mars.
