Montreal artist Kevin Jamey alias GROJ, who delivered a stunning EP on HOSH’s label Fryhide earlier this year, is responsible for microCastle’s third EP, ‘Bunk Up’, of 2018, which comes along with three original tracks and a remix from Clarian for the EP’s title track ‘Bunk Up’. The remixer, having released on labels such as Life And Death, Kompakt or Guy Gerber’s Rumors, rides the new wave train with his approach as the original take sets exactly this tone. Nonetheless, Clarian’s interpretation of the original covers the artist’s preference for creating disharmonious soundscapes that entirely looked at initiate a symphoniously sounding musical experience and unites the vocal deeply with the instrumental level.
GROJ’s EP ‘Bunk Up‘ will be released on November 16th, 2018 on microCastle.
