Stuttgart-resident Jakob Mäder delivers the next outing on infamous Skylax Records with his seven tracker Chord Anthem, which consists out of six original tracks and a remix from Running Back mainstay Shan. The tracks on the EP combine an House, Italo and enough Acid bleeps to make an everlasting impression on the floors. With a modern twist Mäder manages to reissue if not to say revive the golden era of 90s House music with his approach, however sounding modern and classic at the same time. As before-mentioned Shan took on remix duties for The Essence and comes up with a track, which touches the Acid genre as well as it includes trancey sound-sequences all floating over a House-drum pattern. It’s surely one of these tracks soaking one into its soundscapes and releasing one on the magic it unfolds with every beat it makes.
