Japanese artist Hiroyuki Kato makes his debut on Italian imprint Flexi Cuts, a label that is known for exquisite House music and extraordinary output of timeless music. Kate’s three tracker We Need is no exception as it touches the deeper sides of the genre but also contains samples or influences from classic House, Disco and even Techno with all of the latter being translated into a dance-floor key with raw and energetic note. The EP’s title track We Need has a bleepy deep feel and circles or rather flatters the House genre but has this truly industrial deep touch, which makes a perfect fit for those dark and sweaty basement clubs, where you are soaked into because the ambience and music create this unique bound – the bound that We Need.
