Baldo finds his way from the city of Barcelona to British imprint E-Beamz presenting his Deep-, UKG- and Tech-infused House-sound in the context of sophisticated music connoisseurs. After releases on Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly’s Permanent Vacation, Gerd Janson’s Running Back, his very own imprint Physical Education, the artist now has a new EP on the UK-label, musically taking the same line as its predecessors and surely ready to reap support from the (entire) scene again as his latest cuts were spun by none other than Berghain/ Panoramabar-resident and Love On The Rocks-boss Paramida, who also remixed Baldo on his Physical Education release, and House-icon Eris Drew, who gave Baldo’s track 1998 a spin in her Dekmantel-set. However, Drive, the B3 of the release, is a smooth night-rider as Baldo cruises through soundscapes as smooth as a vehicle at night through the empty streets guided by a lush bass line and sweet Acid-Bleeps that turn the track into a decent basis for a long lasting dance floor session.
Baldo’s EP Ethereal Tubes will be released on E-Beamz on September 2nd, 2022.
