Iconic artist Steve Bug takes it back to the old school with his Back To ’95 EP on Will Saul’s Aus Music label. The three tracker from the Berlin-based producers features two original tracks as well as a remix from the Queen of House Cinthie for the EP’s title track, which features legendary NYC vocalist Mr. V. The EP’s second original track is Ode To Wildpitch and, as the track title suggests, is a homage to one of Chicago’s House Music luminaries, namely DJ Pierre and his musical legacy. However, the referred to Wild Pitch-sound was something the artist created when he moved to New York and this is were Steve Bug takes the listener back sound-wise. Some chords, a grooving bass line, few effects and we have a track that is as simple as catchy and ready to rock those dirty and sweaty floors it’s meant to be played out.
Steve Bug’s EP Back To ’95 will be released on Aus Music on April 29th, 2022.
