With releases on DGTL, Heist or Optimo Amsterdam artist Perdu makes his debut on infamous imprint Live At Robert Johnson with a four tracker that’s as soaring as a flight just how the EP title suggests. Known for his preference of creating intriguing melodies Perdu follows this pattern or approach again with his Soaring Flight EP. However, it’s the A2, Retrograde Mercury, that attracts all the attention: bleepy partly Acid-ish chords, a slightly percussion influenced bassline and the aforementioned magnificent catchy lead-melody make the track everything else but sound retro but rather heralding some beauty for the future.
