The third outing of Cormac’s Polari Records comes from Berliner by choice and Brazilian by heart Victor Rotciv, better known under his ROTCIV moniker. Victor contributes four tracks of PUR NRG each following a different musical approach and each slightly differs in terms of sound-affiliation but are united by their vibe or NRG after all. Slipping, the third take on the EP, is probably the most euphoric and surprising track of this release. An almost break-ish baseline as well as unexpected changing synth chords over spheric pads create a rather hypnotic overall vibe which has its rave-moments when the listener is introduced to the vocal. Staying rather in the background and being dominated by glitchy and bleepy chords the track does not seem to slip and keeps the euphoria created throughout the end of the track. PUR bliss with PUR NRG.
