With his album Vivere in Diagonale Roman artist Steve Pepe set the bar high for future releases on London label Inside Out Records. A good few months after the release a handful of artists ventured to take on remix duties and provide the orginals with some alternative musical pieces or offer a different access to Steve Pepe’s music. Amongst others Tolouse Low Trax, niCo and Hivern Discs-artist Lamusa II took on the task to create venerable musica. The latter delivers, just as the original track title suggests, a percussive, hypnotic, experimental version that includes accentuaded gitarre riffs and an none-alternating chord, which sets the basis for various glitch sounds and resounding drums. All of the beforementioned though is highlighting the omnipresent and catchy vocal, which accompanies the listener through Lamusa II’s journey through creative sound compositions.
