It’s tea-time with a brutish addition as British artist and San Francisco residing Michael Devin, better known under his Mr. Tea moniker, makes his debut on Engrave Ltd. Dividing Lines is the title of Michael’s five tracker on the Italian label and covers several genre-overlapping musical approaches – from Disco to Deep House over to the synth-driven and influenced S.F. Bay Area Housey moments. With four original tracks and a remix from Leipzig creative Panthera Krause Dividing Lines captures the artist’s diversity in the most complex yet beautiful manner, namely music. Panthera Krause’s remix for Working With Animals is no exception as the Riotvan co-label head delivers an approach that combines sounds and elements from various genres and assembles them to a hybrid, which is meant to be designed for some physical exercise – the synonym for dancing your shoes off in a club these days. Robert, Panthera Krause’s real name, uses a lush bass line for his remix and feeds the mid- and high-frequencies with several chords and rock-ish elements making the listener starve for more. Without a doubt having Panthera Krause remix Working With Animals does not merely have nominal reasons as the lion’s share of this approach is dedicated to the musical manège.
