Based in Germany’s pulsating creative city Steffen Friedrich, better known as DJ Filburt, implemented aspiring label O*RS alongside Florian Seidel in 2011. Ever since its start the label has given home to rising and prestigious artists such as Braunbeck, Yannick Labbé and of course to his own productions. With the start of 2019 O*RS kicks of the year with an EP from the co-founder himself, ‘Unnoticed Love’, that comes with two original tracks and a remix from legendary UK producer Charles Webster for the EP’s title track. The House Music-veteran twists the original into a dark and vibrating piece of music that smoothly implements the robotic vocals to emphasize the track’s message, namely that of an ‘unnoticed love’. Raw soundscapes and a lush yet dull bass line encounter the robotic voice leave it in the dark even though it is seeing the light of day at this exact moment and combine both the unnoticed momentum of the track’s message and the urge to express it at the same time. With Charles’ remix treatment the producer accomplishes the consolidation of a futuristic approach in a classical House track that has not been heard before.
