Belfast genius Gregory Ferguson, mostly known under his LOR alias, short for Lunar Orbit Rendezvous, makes his debut on Get Physical Music with his EP ‘Inversnaid’. The two tracker depicts LOR’s musical re-invention and comes along with soundscapes and arrangements that have not been heard before. ‘Inversnaid’ is a mixture of spherical sounds combined with an asynchron bass line topped with slight Acid bleeps that sub the vocal while the clap pushes the track forward. Even though the track consists of elements that are common, LOR creates an atmosphere and hence a piece of music that deserves to be described as extraordinary. Maybe ‘Inversnaid’ is not the artist’s re-invention but more a new musical invention.
