French label Happiness Therapy, run by Crowd Control, is known for its pure House music, which – not only according to the label head but proven by the floors – delivers the cure for human imbalance by making people dance. Shortly before the start of the darker seasons, meaningly autumn and winter, Happiness Therapy comes along with a 14 tracks strong compilation guaranteeing enough happiness in all its details. Parisian in Lisbon Jamaimoi got the goodies for less outgoing ladies by coming up with a track that probably causes the opposite. Only For Shy Girls is an impressive piece, which is difficult to pinpoint to one genre as it contains elements and sounds that go from Breakbeat over to Rave and, of course, House. But it’s this mixture that turns Only For Shy Girls into an addictive anthem that’s sprinkled with pads and chords surely making all sexes giving up on their reticence and dance.
