Rotterdam reputable libertine, Nous’klaer Audio mainstay and warmly welcomed at Something Happening Somewhere artist Mattheis returns to the Utrecht label and contributes a tight track to the label’s latest spheric sound exhibition, namely Somewhere IV. t8 is holding onto a likewise considerable melody that’s as impressive as those pictures it evokes of crystal clear rough gems – being one itself. Stretched or looped over nine minutes Mattheis created a unique sequence of sounds that burn into one’s mind with such precision it feels like a melodic cut through the brain, stimulating and easing the listener meanwhile and making it realize the beauty of this cohesive colorful composition.
