ART:CAST #81 by Impérieux

Artist by choice, musician by heart, Berliner Impérieux returns to the art:cast series with a selection of music that totally deserves to be called an artistic approach to music, and in Impérieux’s case it’s the artist’s preference for Jazz that he skillfully puts together to a continuous homage to the music that first found its way to the public in the American south in the early 20th century. The artist now revitalizes the genre making it accessible for an audience who mainly grew up with R&B or HipHop – Impérieux not only accepted the challenge, he grew with it. Just as he grew with every EP he released – on labels like Keller, Sum Over Histories or Innervisions – still remaining true to himself, his music, his passion, his people.
