Vice Versa is Dominik Marz‘s latest EP and about to be released on his mother ship label Belters. The four tracker comes with two original versions, Vice Versa and Faces, from Marz himself as well as two collaborations with long time friend and Berliner Yannick Labbé, who’s known for multi-faceted music on labels such as OR*S or Permanent Vacation among others. The B1 respectively the first out of two tracks of the collaboration’s called Love Takes Two and starts with a dry yet driving bass line, which is enriched with a single chord in the course before the track enters a new stage, namely that of mental-influencing piece, in which the sequences of chords infix a state of trance in the listener’s mind maintaining the tension until the end of it. Love Takes Two is about a relationship at a musical and interpersonal level, each ensnaring and depending on each other.
