Having had releases on Frankey & Sandrino’s artsy imprint Sum Over Histories and Multinotes Hungarian artist MULYA continues to pre-write his own history with another stellar EP, this time on Adana Twins’ label TAU. Going by the name of Highlife MULYA delivers four varying cuts that are united under one musical roof and ensure that both DJs and their audiences live the suggest highlife, at least for the moment one of MULYA’s tracks is played out. The title track sounds like a futuristic approach to music moving its audience into the cosmic spheres with its lazer-bleeping chords, which open into more calm regions represented by a pad-sequence before one is completely lost in (this) space (moment).
