ART:CAST #49 by Neil Flynn

Irish artist Neil Flynn, who is currently living in Berlin, has been constantly releasing music since 2014 when he firstly made his appearance in the scene with his ‘Louise EP’, which was out on Thomas Herb and Mathias Schober’s label Lossless. In 2016 his follow up EP ‘J.E.N.’ caused quite a buzz and smoothed Neil’s way to contribute his track ‘Shon’ to Lossless’ ‘Unbound Vol. 2’ compilation. This year the Berliner by choice took things slowly regarding his musical output – as slowly as a tasteful Irish whiskey needs mature. Firstly Neil met up remix duties for Argentinian producer Valdovinons and his track ‘Memories From Montmartre’, which he simply called ‘Hats Off Remix’ – knowing that Neil has a preference for classy headdresses and secondly he released his track ‘Aris’ on Suara’s compilation ‘Astral House’. For 2019 Neil has already few new music in the pipe that will see the light of day shortly, but until then enjoy the artist’s latest art:cast for Torture the Artist – a spheric journey through the deeper facets of electronic music, partly ensnaring ambient vibes but within in the next second going straight forward without losing its general tone and vibe.
