Berlin got ready for a night where cutting-edge sounds and community vibes converge! Torture the Artist proudly presents “absolutely on Music Meets Elevate“, an exclusive in-store session and livestream showcasing some of the most captivating artists in the (underground) House scene from the Elevate record store.
Elevate, led by the illustrious DJ and producer Cinthie and her seasoned partner Meat, has become a cornerstone of Berlin’s electronic music landscape. Known for its finely curated selections and unwavering support for quality music, Elevate offers the perfect backdrop for this unique collaboration with Torture the Artist.
The lineup featured – besides Cinthie and Meat -Torture the Artist protégée Natebyway and head honcho Holger Breuer, each bringing their distinctive musical touch to the decks.
The night kicked off with Holger Breuer, a German DJ known for his deep, groove-driven House sets, Holger brings a sophisticated, minimalistic touch to the dance floor.
Up next was San Francisco artist Natebyway delivering a House-driven set. The artist is known for his high-energy performances and genre-blending style as he brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to the modern electronic music scene.
The night continued with the Queen of House as known as Cinthie. The Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner, Cinthie is celebrated for her love of classic House and disco-inspired sounds. Her music exudes warmth and groove, often blending elements of 90s house with a contemporary touch. With her labels 803 Crystal Grooves and Beste Modus, she has become a driving force in reviving and reimagining the sounds of classic House.
The night concluded with a set from Meat, the Elevate co-owner is known for his housey minimalistic approach to electronic music. For many years Carsten Schuchmann, Meat’s real name, has been an inspiration for many, club-goers and artists, within the scene. Always taking things easy, always playing music with a smile on his face – a smile you can feel through his music too.
