Demi Requisimo‘s sublabel, A Lifetime On The Hips, a satellite orbiting within the realm of Semi Delicious, is a dedicated platform for emerging artists who resonate with the label’s vision. Presenting a six-track compilation curated for distinct club scenarios, HIPS003 demonstrates an impressive array of sounds that cater to a diverse palette of electronic music enthusiasts.

The A side kicks off with the vivacious Zone 4 Booty Call by Dreamrdreamr a fast-paced, classy House anthem adorned with provocative lyrical vocals and a nostalgic touch of old-school Chi-Town pads. The track sets an energetic tone, inviting the audience to dive headfirst into the dancefloor atmosphere.

Following suit is Sy’s Body Move, a contemporary reinterpretation of classic Progressive House, echoing the sounds of iconic labels like Guerilla. Sy injects a modern flair into the genre, skillfully marrying the essence of yesteryear with the production nuances of today, resulting in a track that stands as a testament to the evolution of Progressive House.

The compilation’s third gem comes from Papa Nugs, is called Loosey Goosey and introduces a modern funky twist to Acid House. Crafted with finesse, this tune unfolds with skillfully produced breaks and synthetic pads, showcasing Papa Nugs’ ability to infuse innovation into a classic genre.

The compilation’s final offering, is Ysanne’s Tisno Tango and takes a leftfield approach with an energetic and atmospheric track drenched in hazy afterparty vibes. showcases a different facet of his sonic palette, leaving the listener with a lingering sense of post-club euphoria.
