It was the year 1996 when Index 968’s track Secret Fantasy saw the light of day coming with a remix from legendary US House producer Terrence Parker. For its 20th anniversary in 2016 the EP, which was out on Intangible, was re-released, this time with a second and hitherto unreleased second remix from the done himself. Due its high demand and simply because Secret Fantasy has become a (piano) House Music anthem the EP is repressed once again, including all three takes, namely the original version of James Sims’, the man behind Index 968, plus both remix approaches from Terrence Parker. And if you have not heard the ultimate homage to piano House or – in other words – an piano House-anecdote by Terrence Parker, you can now stream the Plastic Soul Remix of Secret Fantasy, which is the A1 on the EP. The remix not only captures those before-mentioned positive piano-vibes but is foremost a composition, which brims with positivity, an attribute typical for the era of US-House from the 90s. The crunchy 4×4 bassline in combination with the TP-typical piano-line and the extremely catchy (female) vocals from T-Swift make the track an all-time classic.
