Newly found Parisian label Oyster Ass readies the first release on its vinyl-only imprint, which consists out of five delicate tracks covering influences from early 90s Progressive House Music and has a slight Tech-note with a sweet minimalistic twist. The outcome of the before-mentioned sounds is Public Request’s Iconic Pearl EP. The B1, Low Pressure, is an essential DJ-weapon with “techy” ambitions. Its fast pace perfectly harmonizes with the chord-sequences and vocals as well as trancy-pads and all the other small details, which Public Request managed to smoothly combine on this take. This being said, Low Pressure is a homogeneous conglomerate of soundscapes adding up to a well-nuanced tune creating memorable moments on the dancefloor for those, who enjoy the sweetness of the track’s melody.
