Toronto-based vinyl only label Selections. is back with its tenth release, which comes from MATE label-head Rafa Santos, who delivers adds four classy House tracks to both: his own and the label’s discography. In his typical manner Santos’ approach for his Time To Dance EP on Selection. remains that of an artist, who’s decided to lay its fortune into the hands of House Music. Four tracks designed for the floors, four tracks so sweet and genre supportive it makes one want to sink in as a resting mind in a pillow. The B1. About House, comes in with a the genre-typical Four-to-the-floor-Groove of the drums while in the course of the track deep strings and spoken vocals are added in exactly this order giving the track this raw and classy NY-House-sound. Again Santos comes up with a more than solid EP to add to his fine catalogue of releases showcasing his skills of creating timeless and meaningful music.
