Debuting on Miura Records it’s Los Angeles-based House producer Thomas Garcia hitting hard with his four tracker called Down To Play as the artist chose rather playful approaches to House music’s various sub-genres to present a homogenous work that does not spare to cross boundaries within the main-genre. With releases on Club Bad, Berlin House Music and more Garcia now joins Sam Paradise & Whatever Charles’ conglomerate of feel-good music certainly taking the same line with his Down To Play EP as the label, Miura Records, suggests. The second track, Ya Dig, is Garcia’s excursion into Deep House realms with the genre typical (echoing) atmospheric chords, which hover over the track’s monumental yet groovey bassline. Ya Dig is rounded off with adaptational vocals pushing the track the track into a more housey direction without taking the deepness away.
